THE CHALLENGE

Based in Israel, Syte was looking to break into the U.S. media space and announce major corporate news in trade outlets. 

The crowded retail landscape and time zone challenges made opportunities to engage with reporters limited. BAM worked with Syte to pivot opportunities for expert commentary in bylines and trend pieces executed via email interview. 

THE APPROACH

During our engagement, Syte saw multiple corporate announcements, including a funding round, official platform launch, executive changes, and brand partnerships. BAM strategically leveraged these announcements to introduce Syte to US media and begin building successful relationships with key reporters. Beyond announcements, BAM also was granted access to Syte’s customers for media opportunities to continue building up the company’s credibility, establishing a steady pipeline of executive commentary and op-eds in trades.

BAM secured 10 features, 16 bylines, and 1 podcast with 100% of coverage in core retail trades.

THE RESULTS

In nine months, BAM secured 18 placements for Syte that included 10 features, 16 bylines, 1 podcast appearance, and 1 mention in a larger trend piece, with 100% of coverage in core retail trades. BAM was able to pique interest in major retail and fashion publications that Syte had identified as important targets, including WWD, Business of Fashion, Sourcing Journal, Modern Retail, Retail Brew, and Vogue Business.
